ABOUT YUNJI

Established in 2014, Yunji Technology has a team of over 500 employees, 60% of which are dedicated to R&D. The number of intellectual property applications of Yunji exceeded 1,800, among which the number of patent applications is more than 1000 (invention patents account for more than 60%). The brand owns more than 400 invention patents in the fields of robot movement and IoT control. The innovation index of Qichacha reached 711.78T*. Also, Yunji Technology has won the "Beijing Top 100 Companies in Scientific and Technological Innovation Award", "Wu Wenjun Award for Artificial Intelligence Science & Technology", etc. Yunji's innovation capability and patent number are industry-leading.

As a leading technology company dedicated in service robot applications and technologies, Yunji Technology has been focusing on the productization and commercialization of intelligent robots by virtue of abundant experience in indoor positioning and navigation, robot movement, and big data. Yunji Technology has completed six robot iterations and R&D for three generations of robot prototypes. Our products, providing delivery, usher, broadcasting, retailing and other services, are mainly used in hotels, office buildings, hospitals, government halls and shopping malls.

 

The products of Yunji Technology include: indoor delivery robot "RUN", interactive display robot "Sail", intelligent chassis "Water", food delivery robot "Deli" and intelligent new retail system"Aladdin". 2014

In JanuaryYunji Technology was formally established.
In AugustIflytek took the lead in investing in the angel round of Yunji Technology.

2015

In Junethe first material handling robot "Luobomiao" debuted.
In OctoberChina's first material handling robot "Run" (first-generation) which can take the elevator alone was launched.

2016

In Januarythe first material handling robot named "Run" was officially launched to mount guard in a hotel in Wuxi.
In JuneMr. Li, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, set up an academician workstation of China's service robot industry in Yunji Technology.
In OctoberYunji Technology was shortlisted as one of the "TOP 25 Most Competitive AI Start-ups in China" on AI Era platform.
In Octoberas a representative of Chinese enterprises, Yunji Technology attended the "Opening Ceremony for Pitch@Palace China Club", during which the service robot interacted with Prince Andrew, Duke of York, the UK.
In Novemberthe material handling robot "Run" (second-generation) passed the test and came into the market.
In Decemberthe material handling robot "Run" joined the Intercontinental Suzhou, a five-star hotel under InterContinental Hotels Group PLC taking the world's third place in respect of market value.

2017

In January10 material handling robots "Run" worked in a hotel in Kunming, marking the era of multi-robot collaboration for hotel service robots.
In NovemberYunji Technology won the 7th "Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Progress Award".
In NovemberYunji Technology was selected as one of the "TOP 10 Enterprises in the Intelligent Robot Field of 2017 Zhongguancun Frontier Science and Technology Innovation Competition".
In DecemberYunji Technology entered into a number of cities in Taiwan Province, China, such as Taipei, Taichung and Tainan.
In Decemberthe large-screen display interactive robot named "Yunfan" debuted.

2018

In JanuaryYunji Technology won the "Best Industry Application Award of China Artificial Intelligence" issued by the 2018 CBEC AI China Artificial Intelligence Development & Application Summit.
In MarchYunji Technology took the first step in overseas strategy, and multiple robot products appeared on the Korean market.
In Aprilthe accumulated service mileage of Yunji service robots in hotels, hospitals, government as well as other scenes was beyond the equatorial circumference, reaching more than 40,000 kilometers.
In AprilMr. Dai, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, set up a workstation in Yunji Technology, and thus Yunji became an enterprise with dual academician workstations in the service robot industry.

2019

In OctoberYunji Technology won the third prize of "Technological Invention Award" - the Ninth Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award.
In OctoberYunji Technology was awarded the honorary title of "Best Hotel Supplier" of AHF word "2019 ASIA TRAVEL Hotel Awards".
In Novembertwo types of robots were selected as the "service robots designated for the 2022 Winter Olympics".
In DecemberYunji service robots were put into use in 3,000+ hotels in China, and Shanghai became the city with the largest number of hotels using service robots on a global scale.

2020

In JanuaryYunji Technology was selected as the "Candidate Unit of Key Innovation Tasks in the New-Generation Artificial Intelligence Industry" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

In MarchYunji Technology officially launched the Hotel Digital Operation System (HDOS), serving as the scientific basis for the decision-making of hotel operation and promoting the process of digitalization and intelligence of hotels.
In JulyYunji Technology was included in the "Little Giant" list of "specialized, refined, characteristic and novel" enterprises by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
In Julythe hotel robots "Run" assumed office in more than 30 hotel groups (as of July 2021), covering over 10,000 hotels in 25 countries/regions throughout the world and serving more than 100 million person-times.
